The Laws of Affection and its Alienation
Submitted by Ericka on Mon, 11/22/2010 - 12:30In a perfect world, marriage and love would last forever. We’d pick our partner, start our families and live happily ever after till the end of our days. As the vow implies, “till death do us part”. BUT that’s not our reality. Reality is marriages and relationships are created and broken, cherished and taken for granted every day and the ugly truth of infidelity is something that can plaque even the strongest of relationships.
For The Love Of Baking
Submitted by alison on Mon, 11/15/2010 - 12:30The Holiday season is upon us. For me this means many things, including friends, family, celebrations, present shopping and merriment. However, I do spend a great deal of time in the kitchen baking. During this time of year I primarily make christmas cookies. And lots of them. We send some to friends and relatives and keep the rest for ourselves. Over the course of the next month I will spend three or four whole days in the kitchen baking and decorating cookies. Over the years it has become my job and I have perfected the recipe my mom had been using for years.
Facebook's New Features: Helpful or Creepy?
Submitted by Hillary on Tue, 11/09/2010 - 12:30Facebook’s wall-to-wall feature, which allowed a Facebook user to see conversations between two friends, has now been replaced with a clickable link that reads “see friendship.” Clicking on this link enables you to not only view a conversation between two people (wall posts as well as picture, link and note comments), but a person can also see every picture the two are tagged in, mutual as well as common friendships, groups and pages they both like and even events they have attended together.
My only question to Facebook- why?

The Very Beginning of The Best Part Of The Year
Submitted by alison on Mon, 11/01/2010 - 12:30It is now November, which for many signals the start of the holiday season. Stores become christmas/Winter/Holiday themed and joy is in the air. To me it seems like this part of the year comes faster each new year than it did previously. Perhaps this is because stores give that illusion. Instead of decorating for the Holidays after Thanksgiving, they start the week of Halloween. Some people are just finishing their costumes while stores simultaneously begin the early stages of Holiday season mania.
