I have always wondered why Europeans think American education is crappy. Sure, every European I know speaks at least two languages fluently. Sure, my Spanish is mediocre, at best, despite four years of torturous lessons. But that cannot have anything to do with American education, could it? Nah.

According to the U.S. Charter School website, charter schools are defined as “a nonsectarian public school of choice that operates with freedom from many of the regulations that apply to traditional public schools.” While they are exempt from regulations, they are in theory, held accountable for fulfilling the outlined mission that directs their program.

Bring up the topic of sex and it can be an awkward subject to discuss. It’s regarded as something intimate or simply recreational; it could be a controversial taboo or just a natural part of life and relationships. Whatever your view is on sex, the truth is, we all are eventually exposed to sex and the decisions, precautions and consequences that come along with it. As children we are curious about a lot of things and naturally sex becomes one of them.
